DESCRIPTION:2009 WORKSHOP SCHEDULE\n\nThrough Paul Sills' approach to 
 Viola Spolin's techniques, two one-week intensives will provide player
 s with energy and inspiration for the classroom and stage. Actors, the
 ater students, teachers, directors and other players are welcome to at
 tend.\n\nWORKSHOP A:\nJuly 6 through 10\n\nPaul Sills' Story Theater I
 ntensive, with Carol and Neva Sills\n\nStory Theater is a form evolved
  by Paul Sills to transform stories and literature for the stage. This
  curriculum was created by Paul in a workshop he conducted in Los Ange
 les in 2008. In ten workshops held over a five day period, the intensi
 ve will include the adaptation of folk tales by the group during a reh
 earsal process that leads to performance. The approach emphasizes comm
 unication through the playing of Spolin theater games. Carol and Neva 
 Sills will coach together for a second year.\n\nWORKSHOP B:\nJuly 13 t
 hrough 17\n\nPaul Sills' Theater Game Intensive, with Aretha Sills\n\n
 Paul Sills' concentrated course in playing Viola Spolin's exercises. T
 he ten-session, five day improvisational theater workshop will be coac
 hed by Aretha Sills, using Paul Sills' lesson plan. Aretha has taught 
 at Bay Area TheaterSports, Bard College Cabaret, and privately in San
