The Applied Improvisation Network

Spreading the Transforming Power of Improvisation

I just finished the book The No Asshole Rule by Robert I. Sutton, PHD. And in it he talks about a study that showed when people were put into positions of power they tended to act in their own self interest and they became abusive.

I'd love to find that study.

Any thoughts on how to find it?

Anyone else familiar with this book?

It doesn't spend much time on status but it does talk about the expense on an organization of people who are ...well....[it's in the title of the book] Assholes.

Hi William. Bob Sutton has a blog and you might find these two posts helpful in your quest. And I'd love to hear any other stuff you turn up.
