The Applied Improvisation Network

Spreading the Transforming Power of Improvisation

Hikaru ”LOU” Hie

Hurry Up!! Early bird registration is closing this thursday!!

I have eventually decided to reduce the fee!!!
I mean.... the fee has been set in Japanese yen for me to avoid the risks... but because the yen is too strong now.. so I have decided to set the fee in US dollars.

Now the fee for the 4-day-conference is US$550 (including tax)... till the 21st!!
After the 21st.. it will be US$600!!

Hi Lou,

That's great that you were able to set the price in US dollars. It makes it much easier for us!

How does this affect those of us who already registered for the conference awhile ago? When I registered on January 9th, the amount was $580 US dollars (52,500 Yen). Does this mean that I should get a refund?

Also, when do we pay for the hotel, and who do we send the payment to? Are double rooms available at the hotel or just single rooms?

Thanks,
Yael

Hi Yael..

I will check if it is going to be fixed by the engineer side.

About the hotel, you pay at the hotel when you check in, and the rooms are all single rooms.

thanks!

Thanks Lou,

I appreciate your clarification about the hotel.

What's happening with the tours? I definitely want to go on the tour before the conference, and I'm trying to decide if I can afford the tour after the conference. Did you get enough people to run your tours? I have 2 possibilities for my flight leaving Tokyo--either the night of March 24 or the night of March 26, and I need to decide. Please let me know as soon as possible what is happening with the tours. -Yael

It is actually easier for me to receive mony by "furikomi"..
For the registant in Japan, I prefer to receive the money in this way! soooo thank you very much for asking!!

Please put the money into the following bank account..

Mitsui-Sumitomo Bank

futsuu (普通) 6865763
イーナコミュニケーション ダイヒョウ ヒエヒカル

57750yen

I will send you a receipt.. so please advise the name of the receiptant (your university?) and the mailing address.

Hi, Hikaru.
I tried to send you this mail through the registration page, too, so if it duplicates, forgive me.

Is it still possible for people in Japan to pay for the Conference in yen? If I pay in yen, and preferably in cash, I can charge the cost to my university. If I pay by credit card, the credit card statement won't arrive before the university's deadline for budget submissions. Would you accept furikomi?

Nerida

PS I just noticed we have a BATS connection. Looking forward to meeting you! I've studied with Rebecca, and interpreted for Raoul when he did workshops here a few years ago.

I am thrilled to see you in Tokyo!!! Since this is the first Asia Conference, there are lots and lots to do... but I am soo excited to have people from all around the world!!

I have been receiving soo many inquiry about the fee.... I am sooo sorry for this mess...
YES!! It is still 550 us dollars!! Don't worry!!! US$550 will be charged on your credit card instead of 600.

While you and Elizabeth are in Tokyo.. we should talk about the next Asia Conference in Taiwan!!

Hi LOU

This is Hsiao-Hsien in Taipei. We met at BATS in August. I think Yael introduced us.

I just completed my on-line registration to the Tokyo conference. It's Wednesday Jan 21st here in Taiwan. The weird thing was the total amount for the fee showed on my registraion was US$600. Since today is the last day for the early bird, I finished the process anyway. But I want to make sure that I get the early bird rate right. Could you please check for me? Thanks so much!

Hi, Hikaru San,

My name is Elizabeth Tsai. I am a member in this network and living in Taipei. I am a facilitator here and have started to tell people about this conference. I realized that may be more than 3 people will be interested to go to this conference other than me. I would like to introduce this network and conference to the facilitator and coaching community here. Do you offer a group rate? If yes, how many people would be considered for a group rate?

Thank you for postponing the early date to 1 more day, so I can still have time to tell people at the last minute.
Looking forward to hearing good news from you about the rate for us.

Best Regards,
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth!!!

Thank you soooooo much for your inquiry!!
As the rate is already really risky for me (due to re-set the fee in $US from Japanese yen..).. This is already discounted about 10%...

There is an option!!
You can try to submit your session proposal!!
Then you can get US$50 discount!!

But I can wait for your group for early bird registration!!!
How about by the end of this weekend?

I love Taiwan!!!!
Excited to meet you here in Tokyo!!

Please consider optional tours!! will be FUN!!

Big hugsxoxo

Lou
