I love the idea of working on this in an in-depth way, face-to-face, and NYC would be grand. In the meantime, one thought is: what are we certifying exactly, and what do we think about different tracks of certification based the the very different activities our members engage in?
Whee!

Hi Fred, nothing new. A summary-so-far document would be great, then we could have a call (and maybe a meeting). Thanks.

Hi Paul,
Is there any notes from your discussions at the conference?
After December 20th (too much to do at the moment) I could compile this information with the notes from our meeting in UK in May, the comments in this forum and some discussions I had with Sylvaine (France) and other colleagues in Germany.

Meanwhile everybody is welcome to contribute here, and we could have a phone/skype conference in January.

I see a few new people have joined this group - welcome. There was little discussion about the topic at the conference. It's an important topic for the long-term growth of AI as a 'profession'. So how best to take it forward? A theme within a mini-conference in US next year, perhaps? Some on-line collaboration?
