Spreading the Transforming Power of Improvisation

Konnichiwa!

When you hear the word “Japan”, what do you think of? Do you see images of ancient temples or futuristic cities? Will there be geishas and businessmen in that image? Are they arranging the delicate art of flower arrangements or could they be holding the trend-setting gadgets? Whatever the image you have of Japan, it is probably accurate and likely you will find it all here!

This island nation which place itself to the farthest east has always been exotic and marvelous for many travelers. Though Japan is placed on the east, it has an intricate blend of the West and East. The nation had tightly closed their doors throughout much of their history and has had no outside influence for more than 200 years. The year 2009 will be the 150th year since they have opened their doors to the outside world and started embracing the Western culture!

Traditional and modern art, culture, food, ceremonies, technology, economy, architecture, fashion! You will be able to find everything here in Japan! Since it will be a long trip to Japan, I am hoping I could give everyone a peek of Japan through JAPAN UNWRAPPED to show some ideas and to enrich your stay here!
Topics could be about the newest trend-food and sake in Tokyo, some movies and books which features Japan, the latest fashion in Tokyo, or if there is anything else you want to suggest or eager to know, let me know! I’d be glad to help to introduce it!
Japan is waiting for you to discover!!
