The MICA Gateway building is about 3/4 of a mile from PENN station.

There are transit options, or you could probably cab it without it breaking the bank. 

If you Google Map it the Gateway address is 1601 W Mt Royal Ave, Baltimore MD

 

And Simon you are always hungy and thirsty! I suspect it's soemthing to do with you being a 'kinky vegan'

Thanks Alan. Also I am taking Amtrak  which  station is closest to the campus? I am a newbie I am both nervous and excited to meet all of you.

I'm flying into BWI on Delta....supposedly arriving at 6:34 p.m. and planning on taking a taxi to MICA.  Happy to share...  My cell is 541-231-4012.

Just scouted our location (Gateway) via the Light Rail... noticed unclear signage, so here's how to find the building.  From the North Ave Light Rail stop, walk to the left of the station, up a gentle hill to the big street that runs perpendicular to the tracks (North Ave). Cross as soon as you can and walk to the right... toward the next big intersection. 

Our bldg is on the left before the intersection... it's big with lots of glass and a kind of open patio that fills the gap to the intersection.  In other words, while it is the last building before the intersection, it is not exactly ON the corner.  Lots of glass once you turn into that patio area and you can actually see B BOX on a large room inside. 

If the door is locked, the buzzer is on a short column to the left of the door, back about 5'.
