Hi Thomas, an iPhone shot will be a start. Can you send them to cmccpublic@mac.com? I'll send them to Zohar, too. Thanks!

I have them, taken with my iphone, not very sharp, so you are only able to read the big print. I can send them to your email if you give me an address.

Contact Rich Cox or Chris Sams... the Co-Poobas for the SF conference.  Both are on this site.

I don't know where to post this so sorry. I wanted to sign up for the SF Conference deal, but I can't access the page I have tried with Chrome, Firefox and Safari. I could make a phone call (old school), but to whom? Any ideas anyone.

@Padraig

The Spread the joy activity is basically this.

Get the groups into teams of 3.

1Person is the big cheese, 1 the Top Banana and the 3rd the Head Honcho.

It starts off with one of them (say the Big Cheese) in charge. They now have 2 minutes to give commands to thier 'staff' of two to go out into the world (room) and 'spread the joy' i.e. "Find someone with nice shoes and tell them how nice their shoes are". the two staff then run off, action their instruction then come back for more. At the end of 2 minutes the whistle blows and then the boss has 30 seconds to get 'whatever they want/need' from their staff. This might include personal praise, or a back rub or whatever comes to mind.

Then a new boss comes in and the whole thing repeats, then the last new boss takes their turn.

I may have some of the timinings off but that is essentially it.

I'm sure if you ask Matt he will be able to give you full details.

Enjoy.

AIN External Website

We have created and launched a new website to promote Applied Improvisation to prospective clients - AppliedImprov.com

As you know, we already have a great website for talking to each other: this new site is for us to talk to the world, letting people know the value that AI practitioners can bring to organisations and communities, as trainers, facilitators and inspirers of creativity. It also has a sensational new logo, thanks to our very own Bård Brænde.

Please take a look here, let us know how to improve the site, and recommend it to any potential clients you can think of.  If you’d like to be listed on the site as a Practitioner, then check out the sign-up process on the discussion linked to this email here.
