Dear AINers

As you may know I ran a workshop session in Berlin with the title "Micro-Negotiation - what can Improv teach the World".  The question I wanted to research was "What is it that Improvisers do so well around real-time negotiation, to ensure that we achieve effortless win-win every time".

The findings from the session can be boiled down to this simple sentence:-

"We are so successful because we enter negotiation with the goal of finding agreement, not of with the goal of achieving our own desires."

I hope this is useful

And a big thank you to Sigrid Peuker for helping to steer me towards this answer.

Hey everybody, after one day of sleep and even more wonderful talks - i still feel happy about this inspiring conference. There is still a lot of work to do - like catching those burglars who broke into my house on friday night. Thanks to all of you and our great team. Big hug, Ella

Big thank you for the organizers. Lot's of efforts, planning, coordination, delivery were invested with fantabulous results.

I take off my hat with gratitude to who ever was involved in making this event possible. Big thanks from the Israeli in Singapore

Kudos to all the folks in Berlin who put on a hell of a conference.  Lots of post conference ideas that we can't let die on the vine.  If I can help in any way, all you have to do is ask.  Great seeing all of the faces and drink in all of the energy from this amazing group.  Let's go out and change the world!

We have created and launched a new website to promote Applied Improvisation to prospective clients - AppliedImprov.com

As you know, we already have a great website for talking to each other: this new site is for us to talk to the world, letting people know the value that AI practitioners can bring to organisations and communities, as trainers, facilitators and inspirers of creativity. It also has a sensational new logo, thanks to our very own Bård Brænde.

Please take a look here, let us know how to improve the site, and recommend it to any potential clients you can think of.  If you’d like to be listed on the site as a Practitioner, then check out the sign-up process on the discussion linked to this email here.
