Improv in Daily Life

I'd love to exchange ideas and practices with others incorporating improv in daily life--our own workplaces, relationships, and even when we're alone.

A couple of examples

(1) During a Board meeting: We brought in lots of simple sound-makers and taught Board members how to make a ""soundscape"" (with some adding vocal support or a spoken phrase). Used it for check-ins at the beginning of meetings... even played back responses to a financial report! (2) Start of a conference call: Similar to the above but with voice only. It worked best to have only 1-2 people do the sing-back because they couldn't see each other.

Yes!  I wrote a chapter on this topic in a 2003 book titled "Psychodrama in the 21st Century" edited by Jacob Gershoni. I want to promote more improvisation, spontaneity and imaginativeness in everyday life. Another book I've been revising is titled "The Art of Play" --- it was published in 1988 and 1996, and now out of print, but again speaks to this topic.  I'd like to find out who else shares this interest. Warmly, Adam Blatner in Texas  www.blatner.com/adam/
