Carol Noakes asked if the dates for London meetings were random and spontaneous.  Yes, they are.  Approximately one per month.  Make sure your settings are set to receive the messages from the group, and then you'll get reminders.

Sounds interesting but I'll be on stage.

I'd love to, but a bit tied up now (uh - sorry...)

Would anyone be interested in a session on Dave Gray's excellent Gamestorming?

Anyone good at the Boris/Interrogator game?  Who wants to tie me to a chair and shout at me?  We could order pizza...

Great post Mark - great videos.  But who's 'Berlina'? ; )
Comment by Mark on September 11, 2011 at 11:26am

Yes, thanks very much for a great event, Paul - both thought provoking and fun!

Thanks for the link Berlina, that's a very interesting talk - the most valuable idea I took out of the cauldron of knowledge(!) from it was the PERMA acronym - Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishments. A very good way of looking at productivity!

Here's another great talk by Jane McGonigal - http://www.ted.com/talks/jane_mcgonigal_gaming_can_make_a_better_wo...

and one by on Gamification by Jesse Schell (although his vision of a gameified future is a little scary!): http://www.ted.com/talks/jesse_schell_when_games_invade_real_life.html

Thanks Paul for your GREAT session on Games that Solve Problems.  Here's a great link to Jane McGonigal on productivity, positive psychology, what it takes to flourish, and how games can help us through extremely difficult times.

Sounds lovely! Unfortunately I missed it. Could we have it again sometime? :)

Belina and Paul Z were delightful......and Joe, Alice and Lucy were great company.  We even tried a bit of Applied Improv on them....with some success....or maybe they just let us believe we had success. Either way it was delightful - pizza - rain - and applied improv!  Perfect.  We laughed and laughed ....I could do that every week.  Thank you London!!!!!

Sooo delightful to meet up with William Hall, Paul Z, Joe, Alice and Lucy in Regents Park!  William taught us a great extension of Thiagi's 35 with envelopes, we co-created a story using a seated version of 'what comes next? and no/pe' and we learned a snap game.  The last two were great at tuning us in to taking care of our partners.  Fantastic day!
