Your accommodation at MICA:

If you opt with the official AIN lodging you will be staying in the same building as the sessions take place.

You get a dorm room to yourself, as part of a suite of 3 or 4 rooms, sharing a small living room, a kitchen and a  bathroom with fellow AINers.  It will be like Applied Impro camp. See the attached. There are no double beds.  And you can’t book an apartment all to yourself unless you pay for the whole apartment.  In any case, we’d like to encourage apartment sharing as a feature of the conference.

More information about amenities can be found here.

“Well, who do I get to share with?” -  I hear you ask.  We’re setting up an accommodation team to consider that very question, and they’ll be giving you a choice as to whether you want to share with named friends, or be allocated an apartment according to your preferred criteria – for example, people from the same or different parts of the world; newcomers or experienced members, etc.

Alternatively you can also stay in one of the hotels near MICA - MICA_Baltimore_Hotels.pdf - some of which have discounted rates for the college.

AIN MONTREAL 2015 : INVITATION FOR OFFERS

You have from now until the Monday, May 11th to make a (or several) delightful offers for our tribe’s conference. Again, ’Back to Nature’ is our theme for this 2015 AIN conference. Life on earth is creative, playful, and always improvising. In that sense, being connected to nature is being connected to our whole being, with all of our creative, playful and improvisational capacities. How does your work connect with that?

AIN External Website

We have created and launched a new website to promote Applied Improvisation to prospective clients - AppliedImprov.com

As you know, we already have a great website for talking to each other: this new site is for us to talk to the world, letting people know the value that AI practitioners can bring to organisations and communities, as trainers, facilitators and inspirers of creativity. It also has a sensational new logo, thanks to our very own Bård Brænde.

Please take a look here, let us know how to improve the site, and recommend it to any potential clients you can think of.  If you’d like to be listed on the site as a Practitioner, then check out the sign-up process on the discussion linked to this email here.
