A unique combination of business skills and improvisational comedy experience. Dan Brantley believes that if you leap the net will appear
10 years with SW premier improvisation comedy troupe
20 years as motivational speaker
9 years VP sales US largest parking lot sweeping company. Growing company by 150% during tenure.
Dan is one of those rare individuals who can be a success at absolutely anything he tries, and his restlessness and low boredom threshold have enabled him to test this ability often. He subscribes to the "seat-of-the-pants" school of career planning and is now, or at some point was:
... a licensed real estate agent, certified mediator, improvisational actor and comedian, door to door encyclopedia salesperson, Eagle Scout, Scoutmaster, professional Boy Scout, corporate recruiter, professional speaker, seminar and workshop leader, writer, stay at home Dad, video producer, paperboy, tomato picker, car salesman, and a package truck loader for UPS. He sold TIme/Life books by phone and briefly sold insurance. He has started companies and started fights, but he has never been to Graceland..., nor has he ever let the truth get in the way of a good story.
He is married to a gorgeous women and is the father of three brilliant sons, at least two of which are orchestral caliber string players. According to his oldest son "It is evidently a generation skipping talent..." since Dan can only sing with the radio on, very loud.
He lives in University Park, a Dallas, Texas area community, where his seeming lack of regular employment blends in well with the trust fund babies and well to do investors of the city.
Although his parents are both native Texans, he was born in Virginia and cannot make that claim.
He is a graduate of the University of North Texas.
As a Speaker/Seminar/Leader/Trainer he has made presentations to, SBC, SBC Yellow Pages, Lomas Financial, MCI, Verizon, Colortyme, Southwestern Association of Ad Agencies, First International Bankshares, Greater Dallas MLS, American Heart Association, The Coffee Beanery, and a bunch of others that fill a page or more, single spaced, really, I mean it.
He travels often and would retire to a cruise ship if possible, but since his retirement planning includes a lot of lottery tickets, this is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
At last count, he has owned over 41 vehicles, usually one or two at a time. (if you count bicycles it is 46 or 47)
He collects strange covers of popular songs and has in his collection bluegrass versions of The Beatles, African acapella versions of Jimi Hendrix, reggae versions of Pink Floyd, and too many pop tunes in different languages to count.
His programs are an interactive mix of humor and insight that lead a group to destination of their choosing. A journey, if you will, enjoy the ride.
"When Dan is on-stage, you know everything will turn out well."
Welcome, now we are a group. I've read your profile, I have 3 sons too. Actually, I coach a motivational speaker, famous in France, and I'd like to start my own speech in motivational.
I'd like to discuss about sale and negociation in this group.
