About Applied Improv Silicon Valley

Applied Improv is a fun way of practicing both time-proven and cutting-edge skills that can change your personal and professional life, no matter who you are or what you do.

No experience needed, only a willingness to allow yourself a bold and honest encounter with the Now.

If a person is confused by this description, or if it sounds weird or unusual (but a little bit intriguing), and yet you are still willing to try new ideas and actions to expand your mindset, then you are a person we welcome.

There are no observers, auditors, or lookie-loos.

There are only participants.

Hi Dan! Did you know that we have a Bay Area AIN chapter? We've been meeting in either SF or the East Bay. It would be great to coordinate with your Silicon Valley group. How often and where do you meet? What do you do at your meetings? Thanks, Yael Schy

Dan,
Don't celebrate mistakes! You perpetuate the approval/dissaproval syndrome. Focus on focus. Complete or incomplete. Incompleted is not a mistake. It's a resistance.to the focus (for whatever reason). This is the trap most people get involved in. Success/Faliure thinking.
Think only of ways to solve the problem. Avoid words like success and failure. It will lead to a dead end.
End of sermon.
Yours,
Yoda. :)

Hi Dan,
What games did you play? You might get some good ideas from AIN.
Key in doing this for business is a debreif that makes the participants understand the value as applied to their world.
Good luck.

Hi Dan,
Do the Improv SV folks know about this network? I was doing a 'social media' session at the conference and was showing how to search twitter for improv, when the SV group came up to our surprise. I saw your post on Gary's profile and so thought I'd ping you about it.
Cheers,
Leif
