I work in healthcare now, but have been acting directing and improvising since the late Eighties.
I am currently in an MBA program and have decided to put my background to use in the pursuit of work in Organizational Development.

During a show, a teammate stepped out and did a silent scene by himself. The scene was engaging, funny and pointed, but what was most impressive was what the rest of the team did to support it. What looked like an individual scene happened because of the awareness and support of the rest of the players. I guess that's more of an example.

I'm married to a wonderful woman, I have a beautiful 2 year old son, we are expecting a little girl in March.
I am a resident artist with Chemically Imbalanced Comedy in Chicago.
I'm still trying to find my way in the biz world. Any advice? Feel free to drop some knowledge.
I need help with...
Getting into the BIZ side of things.
I have been working as an artist for years, but most of my day job career has been spent in support positions (administrative, clerical) and temping. Now that I have changed my focus and started working towards my MBA, I'm learning that I am interested in continuing to use the skills developed over my years as an actor and director in organizational development and performance improvement.
Yes, it's been a busy summer for me! I'm performing with RECESS at the Playground and with an independent team called The Album. Aaand starting my 5b shows at IO this Sunday. How about you?
I saw your profile in the Midwest AIN Group and sent you a friend request. I'm also a Chicago improviser studying Organizational Development. I just started a program in Learning and Organizational Change and I'm still wrapping my brain around how to incorporate improv into what I'm learning in school and doing at work. Good luck with your studies!

Hi Dave, I'm experimenting with adding an embedded chat client on the main page and noticed you were online right now...if you see something either underneath the members box or on the right side of the main screen, can you try and chat with me to test it. Thanks!
