My father had alzheimers. We sat together for many afternoons creating the details of that experience through photographs, stories, and improv.
Through the experience or re-enacting his "struggle" I discovered a beautiful spirit within his being and was able to write about it in an article.
He died the day after it was published.

I'm recreating my work which is basically a cruise to the meaning of my life (as opposed to the end of my life). This group offers support, practical information and inspiration to individuals and families dealing with profound change and loss. Mind, body and spiritual wellness will be explored through various resources, methods and perspectives that promote joy, enhance wellness and stimulate optimism. Many of the activities and readings may be supplemented through dramatic and artistic conventions such as improvisation, music, singing and dance.
