OK, back to the ‘Bio’…
Studying and performing the art and craft of Improvised and Stand Up Comedy, Elvin has utilized both 'Impro' and 'Stand Up' in Business Workshops and Seminars Internationally, specifically on the OU Business School MBA programme.
Often referred to as ‘highly energized’ and ‘inspirational’ Elvin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the OU Business School. He has held board and senior management positions within Multi-national Program and Construction Management organizations, working in the fields of Management Consultancy, Learning & Development, Marketing, ICT and Operations. As an independent creative management consultant, he worked internationally across a multitude of sectors, specializing in organizational and personal development.
Elvin is an Associate Director with Mace Sustain Ltd., part of The Mace Group.
Elvin also, Tutors for the OU Business School in the UK and northern Europe on two MBA modules: 'Creativity, innovation and change’; ‘Strategy’. In 2005 the students very kindly nominated him for the Tutor of The Year Award.
Also he is credited with:
· Authored ‘Give Peace and Conflict A Chance; My Personal Voodoo’ published within the best selling business book My Voodoo, (Firth and Carayol, 2002)
· Authored 'Power Facilitation', a chapter within Business Creativity-Practitioner’s Handbook, published by the University of Greenwich (Dr.Kanes Rajah, 2007)
· Engaged on City of Vice, a 5-Part Period-Drama, commissioned by the UK's Channel 4 Television
· Acted in an independent film production, Flowers For Mum
· Appeared in a BBC TV programme for the Open University
Current Chair of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Building’s ‘Innovation & Research Panel’, Officer for London’s Constructing Excellence Club and regular contributor to leading UK property and construction journals.
