More about you: (Short Bio or any other details you'd like people to know)
I started improvising as a musician. After finding Keith Johnstone to have provided a vocabulary for improvising, I became more interested in the theatre and began to work with him.
I was part of the first group to develop Impro and apply it as Theatresports at our Loose Moose Theatre, in the 70's and 80's.
We created a lot of theatre, both improvised and rehearsed. We exported Theatresports from there.
The rehearsed plays were an application of the impro method to acting. The method was based in behavioural understanding, experimentation, and analysis.
I also worked as an actor in theatre, film and television for a few years in the 80's and early 90's. I have always had an interest in media and still experiment with improvisation and video.
During most of the 90's I lived aboard my sailing boat with my wife, in Europe, where we produced several works of theatre on both a large scale and a small one. Our work led us to give series of workshops through the 90's and into the present, in Scandinavia, Netherlands and Germany. During this period the application of Impro to Management Training and Theories took a large leap forward as it was recognized by some consultants as useful to their field and to the climate within the corporate world. I was invited to give workshops in that sector based on how I worked with creative groups and I found the interest in the ideas to be keen.
I lived in Calgary from 2000 to the present, teaching in Universities for a while, producing music and video projects, working as a performance consultant and raising a family. I also continue my work with Keith Johnstone in the area of masks and as manager for Keith Johnstone Workshops Inc.
I teach Johnstone Methodology by way of workshops to Institutions and to Improvisation companies.

I also play with theatre group Raak (www.theaterraak.nl) which is a group of four drama teachers. It's really nice to work with them 'cause we share the same background, and a little group of four is also synoptic.
