First of all, what is your improv history? Do you know Keith's work?
There's lot of improw wisdom in his books and he still teaches too here and there, strongly recommended to attend his courses :-)
To be able to relax, listen, react and not do solo work to please the audience or the teacher you must simply feel safe as a student, so take any necessary step to make them feel safe.
First thing is: DO NOT give any negative feedback, only positive comments on what is really working. Instead you should encourage making happy mistakes. It does not mean that you don't give a shit, you must play seriously to be a good playmate!
I had to work with improv 8 years before I understood that the most important thing is to say 'good' whenever you see a bad scene :-)

Feel free to ask me (or any of us!) preferably very stupid questions ;-) Then you give us the opportunity to give relatively bright answers!
