More about you: (Short Bio or any other details you'd like people to know)
I'm currently studying Business Administration (Master Innovation & Entrepreneurship) and setting up an improv company with two friends. I've been active on the (improv) stage since 2003 and love to organize cultural events when I'm not studying.
I need help with...
Finding an internship to combine my passion for improv with my BA master.
I notice that you are thinking of researching improv within organizations - this was a major part of my PhD, and I have also written and published about improvisational working styles, and improv in organizational contexts, especially within project-based work.
There is lots of opportunity out there to apply improv to work, and a fair amount of literature. If you are interested in this, you may want to contact me via my work email - I work and research at Boston University in the US, and my email is sleyb@bu.edu
Hello Gijs, I noticed that as well (as I'd received a notification of your comment). Let me look into here, I'll test it by leaving a new comment myself.
Yes! The possibilities for research are endless. The title of my thesis is “The influence of a team development intervention (improvisational theatre) on climate for work group innovation. I can send you a copy if you’d like. In what direction have you been thinking about doing your research?
I prefer to communicate over e-mail, so please reply to Burgertk@gmail.com.
