Stay in the moment. Improv IS life!
More about you: (Short Bio or any other details you'd like people to know)
I spent twenty years in the broadcasting industry before my husband and I started the winery (whiteowlwinery.com) in 1999. The first time I stepped foot on a stage was in 2003 when the group I'd hired to present a murder mystery didn't show. With 150 people waiting to be entertained, I called an actor friend and we literally ripped each act off the fax and performed it between dinner courses. People said they loved it and I was hooked! I worked in area theatre for three years. Then, a friend told me about summer intensive Improv classes at Second City. I immediately signed up and spent a week in heaven.
In June, 2007 I stated VAMP Shows as a traveling theatre troupe, performing murder mysteries and Improv comedy for wineries, company and private parties. One thing has led to another and I am now branching VAMP out into business team-building and training, along with resurrecting my public speaking and voice-over work.
I still work at the winery as the Marketing and Public Relations Director. But my first love is Improv, with a side of wine, of course!
