Share a favorite 'improv epiphany'
I recently finished a month long run with Un-Scripted theater of San Francisco creating long form musical plays. The shows we're based on audience suggestions of playwrights. We we're reviewed and the critic said: " This is what theater should be. "
I have always thought improvisational training makes us better actors and prepares us for being in the moment.

I started my improvisational career under the tutelage of Del Close at The Second City. I performed with the Second City touring company in the 70's. I have been teaching Improvisation and acting at the Academy of Art in San Francisco for the last 12 years. I continue to perform with Un-Scripted Theater and also as an actor/singer.

I would like to learn how to break into the field of corporate training utilizing my skills as an improvisor, trainor, and teacher.
The local chapter meets...often in an office building downtown. Sign up for 'membership' in the SF Bay Area Local AIN group and I'm sure you'll be notified when the next meeting happens. Chris Miller (from Moss Beach) is our coordinator.
Welcome Karen. This is a pretty darned good place to meet people and share ideas. And there is also a local SF chapter that meets from time to time...so be sure to sigh up for that.
