- At the Banff conference, I was challenged in some of the games throwing me back into my basic stress-learning modes (I can hear, see, and think perfectly, but nothing can be communicated, so all that is left functioning is my ability to move.) Oddly enough it was great to become conscious of this while in it. Now I have to work on a speedy recovery, then eventually skipping the whole thing for totally integrated communications and movement. Until then I will relax into being the "class klutz". If I was to have a chat with Shaun Finley of Loose Moose, I want to disagree with his term of "disengagement", as the number of rules are overwhelming to a beginner resulting in "outages". Once rules are learned and integrated then I would accept the term disengagement as functional in contrast to conscious participation.
