Hi, Yael,
I will most likely be attending; it just takes a while for the wheels of bureaucracy to turn out a check and I am loathe to put any of my own precious money on the line.
I would say that staying with me, also in Vancouver, WA, is a saf...
I plan to attend the conference and one of the pre-conference workshops but I am waiting for my generous college (I teach acting and improv) to cut a check. Is there still room for me? I live locally so housing is not an issue. I would be happy to...
I would love to do some music with you. I sing improvisationally, any style and my own. Words et al. I will look for you at the conference. You can hear some stuff at myspace.com/marciamcreynolds
I teach acting and "Improv for Theater and Life" at the college level, a class that combines the skills of improvisation with learning how to apply it to the student's private and professional world. I have been an applied theater entrepreneur for thirty years working primarily with people who are in difficult places, those incarcerated, addicted, with low self esteem, with physical or mental disabilities, the homeless, lately the poor who cannot get a place to live. Give me a group in need of feeling more alive or addressing some issue and I can usually figure out how to apply improv to it.
I am also an improvisatory singer/soundmaker. I sometimes record these efforts, a changing sampling of which can be heard at myspace.com/marciamcreynolds.
I wish to get out into the world more, to be inspired by all of you, and to share with you what I know about this work.

As long as I have a motivation and or an image, I can create, handle anything.
The word "visceralization," to feel inside what I am seeing simlutaneously.
More about you: (Short Bio or any other details you'd like people to know)
Started an applied theater program by accident back in the 70'sat Virgnia Commonwealth University, been doing it ever since. Live it. am it. So weird I don't know where to fit in. Maybe your club.
I need help with...
with language for what I.we do. Meeting people who want to work with me (it's lonely over here). Making more money at it. Convincing a college of the merits of a full time applied theatre program.
