When a person is first spreading their wings in an improv exercise they draw heavily on the issues that are closest to the surface---being present to what is happening as an enlightened teacher/observer provides a real healing opportunity.
More about you: (Short Bio or any other details you'd like people to know)
Trained at Players Workshop of the Second City in Chicago. Worked and taught with David Shepard for a few seasons.
Looking for players in the North East---or willing to travel to Chautauqua for a series of seminars aimed at single people who could use a safe way to unload baggage from past relationships so they can move on and into healthy NEW relationships. My proposed method is to allow them to provide the details of the issues and have the players sketch it out in front of them! Can you say transformation? Saw a German psychiatrist using this method in Boulder CO in 2000 and it was full of revelation for birth family issues. Need one more woman and thee more men to act as both players and teachers. Anticipate kicking this project off Valentine's Day 2008. Each teacher will be working with a group of approximately 20 students and well as full group (100) exercises. Please contact me if you are interested in shaping this project with me---as long as your frame of reference is equal parts art and business. :)

being stuffed into a box and or being quantified.

My artistic friends live, work and play, largely in this universe propelled by alternate
currency. My artistic friends honor the intrinsic

Hi Maureen,
Your project sounds intriguing! I would love to find out more. Unfortunately, I can't attend the Feb. 29 weekend, as one of my best friends is getting married that weekend. Please think of me the next time! -Yael

Hi there! It would be cool to meet you too, but I won't be up that way until the week after. I have an improv gig here in Cincy that week, and have a trip planned to NY the first week in March. (Going up there to see Tim Minchin!! Check him out on YouTube if you don't know who he is. BRILLIANT!!) So let me know how it all goes! :)

Close enough for me. He was one of those people you meet and you know you won't likely meet anyone like him again in your life. So I would love to know more about your project. Let me know if there is a good time to chat about it. robin@corpagility.com

Hi, Maureen! Your idea of interacting/facilitating a group of single people interests me. It sounds like playback theatre - am I on the right track? I'd love to talk to you more about it. My direct email is rstarr22@gmail.com

Ha! that's funny...you should see a "add friend" button underneath my name/face in most places. Try the main page in the box that shows all the members.

Also, I'd be interested in hearing some more about your plans as well...email me using leif at sparknw.com
Cheers,
Leif
