I first discovered improv about 10 years ago when I enrolled in a workshop that Cathy Salit (Performance of a Lifetime/POAL) was leading. At the time I was a graduate student and a frustrated and bored corporate trainer, in search of an approach to adult learning that would actually help people grow and develop. Lucky me that I found what I was looking for with POAL, and in 2003 I joined the team. I love designing and leading workshops that push the envelope, that help ordinary people experience their creativity and ability to take risks, and to grow. For me, learning to perform--being who we are and who we are becoming - is key to human growth, and to changing the world.
