I love that image! "make safe and strong containers..." It strikes me that a good, safe Amygdala Hijack, (sounds like a drink Douglas Adams might have dreamed up) within the Learning/playground, rather than being a trauma, is a hoot!
Working hard here in New York's Capital District to nurture a tiny improv scene, I was frankly a little jealous at what a hopping town Portland seems to be! I have a feeling I'll be back your way at some point...It was really great meeting you, Gary!

Also, I forgot to mention. I really love what you shared about your art table. From the previous art teacher repeating "Keep the table clean" to becoming a social hub and artistic expression of love and connection. It's amazing.

I enjoyed this session very much.
