I wasn't anywhere near... so I had absolutely no hope in hearing this. I will look at what is mentioned, because the title engages me thus the content no doubt will make me ecstatic.

In general, personally what I avoid is setting things down too much. What I learnt from this is that the familiar is also an easier stepping stone. Thus, no script, but using what is already known. For example, the Christmas production I am direct...

Share a favorite 'improv epiphany'
I see a lot of aspects of life as being made to be unnecessarily complicated. So I gave myself a philosophy of life to simplify everything. Not so easy with the mix of other philosophies and processes that we can go through, plus changes in life and etc. However, an epiphany occurred in a improv workshop that made me realise that complicating matters can be resolved by relaxing and unwinding from the complications to allow time to sort the messiness out. (Time doesn't cure everything, but get it in the right balance it'll cure some things.)
More about you: (Short Bio or any other details you'd like people to know)
Leaving for the big, bad world after getting a degree, but already I found barriers saying no entry and bumps in the pathway.

I am living in Cardiff and facilitate improv workshops. I run Ludus Ludius theatre company that does so, but we are just starting and these things take time to get grounded. Most projects are having to be done for nothing, so I have less time to do them. So there are the barriers.

I perform, music, theatre, whatever way I can I guess. I enjoy theatre more than film, I think. However, that is something for me to re-evaluate now that I have done more films since when I initially came to that conclusion.
I need help with...
Anyone know of improvisers in Cardiff, that'd be good. I am looking for musicians in Cardiff that improv along with actors that improv. Well, anyone that is interested in improv in general would be nice to meet.

Obviously, I am looking for ways to perform, so if you have something you want performed, get in touch. I am always willing to get involved with various events going on.

Dance your heart to an extra beat

Ok, maybe dance is not the best word, but I'd be more worried about the extra heart beat.

In times of struggle and stress with the economy in a mess and the Goverment stealing all available money to pay for there forth holiday or a new 7ft marble table to go in their brand new kitchen. I suggest we take to the streets and move. Get people moving. Most of the time people are moving, but its regimented and restrained. Break the lock to the cabinet we hide are daily aggrevations in. Built up emoti… Continue

Hi,
I sort of tried to send you a mail through this site, but after 13 years ICT-work I'm still no good at it. Did you get the mail?

Funny that you replied to my table-for-2 question. I thought you did it after noticing my reply to your question. But you obviously did it spontaneously.
Tomorrow I'll answer your latest question. Not much time right now.

oops, I seem to have left this comment for myself - now I'm copying it to you:
Hi Nathan
Good stuff - finding ways of getting involved with local activists like Hijinx (is anyone called Jamie or Ros involved still?).
Other good ways of seeing/experiencing and joining in would be to attend one of the AIN conferences (Trondheim, Chicago), or less ambitiously and expensively one of the London group meetings, which are beginning to happen with a bit of regularity - join the London group on this site, if you haven't already. You are also welcome to fix up a coffee with me, any time you are around London/St Albans.
Any ideas where you'll be working/living post-uni?
Anyway, there's no fixed route, as we are inventing this relatively new field of applied improv as we go along.
Cheers, Paul Delete Comment

Anything going on at Chapter these days? We started an improv group there in the late 80s, and performed at Brecon Jazz Festival.

So far, I've managed to have some fun in the conference call. I seemingly didn't manage to listen to the suggestion, silly me, a chipmunk was the ask for. opps. Nevermind, it was as fun. Certainly entertained the rest of the people in my kitchen.
