Share a favorite 'improv epiphany'

I began taking improv and reading Viola Spolin at the same time. I found that I highlighted every page of her book with what I felt (and still feel 25 years later) were lessons for not only improv, but also life.

Work as an instructional designer in Indy. Trained at Players Workshop of the Second City and Second City Training Center. While living in Chicago was part of a troupe called "Void Where Prohibited" and also worked for Custom Comedy Capers using my improv skills for business entertainment. I am, at present, a member of Indyprov, an improvisational theater group in Indianapolis. We perform around Indy, in the local Fringe Festival and were local EMMY nominated for a piece on station WFYI.

I need help with...

Better (what ever that means) application of improv in a work setting.
