For years the "Yes let's" game was just a game to 'train' people to be positive. Mostly this resulted in everyone blindly accepting the most ridiculous ideas leading to no story whatsoever. During Keith's summer school this year (2008) I finally saw the value of this game, namely learning what the other people in the group like and what inspires them. So often this game is played where everyone just has to accept everything, diminishing its value tremendously. When people have the option to bail out if they're not inspired by a suggestion though, this game is excellent for story telling skills and teaching people how to please one another.

I have been working in IT for about 15 years. Through my involvement with improv and scripted theater, which started in 2003, I made a radical career change. Now I'm on the path to apply improv and theater techniques throughout the corporate world as well as to become an improv and trans mask teacher. The 16 months I spent in Calgary working with Loose Moose have certainly helped me get on this path.

As I'm just starting in this field I am definitely interested in expanding my network.

Aha so your back in Europe, welcome! Irak was great, the heat was terrible but the people were great. We have no plans to go anywhere else right now, but I do hope something come our way, I think travelling and meet new improviseras or actors or people is the most fun. Take care

Hallo Stef!\
Nice to hear from you, are you still in Canada?
Me and Robert are in Iraq right now in the Kurdisch part (where is much more stabil than in Bagdad) We are here with an kurdish friend to introduce impro to kurdish actors. The kurdish people seem to have very easy to be spontaneus, guess it has to do with that in there everyday life they dont plan as much as us from the western world.

Take care big hug!
