I have taught all levels for the last 40 years mostly in the South Bronx and including prison. Subject areas include, theater arts/ communication, video production, social studies, language arts and special education. I have Masters degrees in history and special education. I have theater training at Herbert Bergoff School of acting, Lee Strasberg Institute, and the New School in NYC. I was the owner and producer of Show Time Children's Theater in Rockland County NY and Bergen County, NJ for 13 years. Children were taught the performing arts and performed for audiences of adults and children original and known shows.While teaching a college course at Sing Sing Correctional Facility I made a docudrama about the Bernard Goetz trial that was well received by PBS. I am now interested in becoming a consultant to businesses using improv to meet their needs. I have successfully used a learning by doing philosophy with many types of classes and groups for quite some time and strongly believe in its value . I am looking to connect with like minds.

Share a favorite 'improv epiphany'

I met a great teacher at Herbert Berghof School of Acting in NYC. I had a special and gifted teacher there. I first learned the special uses of theater games and improvisation and the contributions of Viola Spolin. That class and her provided me with my greatest educational experience. That was in 1976. I launched my career sharing these gifts with my students.
