Share a favorite 'improv epiphany'

I was frustrated by the limited opportunities to feel creative while acting in college and community theatre. My old teacher took me to see the Saturday Midnight improv set at The Second City in 1973. A light bulb not only went off, it exploded from extreme voltage. I applied for the workshop and got in by the next weekend.
