More about you: (Short Bio or any other details you'd like people to know)
I have been interested in the role of play/improv in formal and informal learning contexts since I was an undergraduate student at Cornell University in the early 1990s. I am originally from the suburbs of New York City but moved to Chicago in 2001 to study and perform improv. I have studied at Second City, IO and the Annoyance and have performed in student productions and with independent ensembles. Since 2001, I have also been developing workshops using improv activities for team-building in community and academic organizations, for instructional activities in the adult education classroom and for teacher education/development. I am also an academic and doctoral student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My research interests are in improv/pretend play as a life-span, developmental activity and the role of improv in formal learning environments and in teacher education. I also am working on a two-person improv show with my best friend.

Hey Tony,
So great to see you at PTW, and welcome to AIN! Let me know if you are able to attend the conference....Kat will be there, but unfortunately I can't make it this year. Let's stay in touch!
Hugs,

Hi Tony,
Yes, I will be at the Chicago conference. And no, its not too late for you to register --as a matter of fact, because of lower attendance (we're at about 65) we've decided to keep the price at the early bird price. It would be great to have you join us. Tons of fun, tons of hands-on learning, and amazing applied improv professionals to network with. I'll also be in Chicago a few days early (as well as a few other attendees), perhaps we could meet up.
Warmly,
Leif
