Hi Kathleen... thanks for your comments, and I will share them with Alieke when I meet her for dinner.
And, I totally agree... and will continue to interview people on how they do their work and offer this piece of the puzzle.
Coincidentally, I am typing up the How chart as we "speak". I will send it to Leif as soon as I am done so he can post it. If you want me to send it to you as an Excel doc along with our other charts, I will... just send me your "outside-of-this-ning" email address.
:D
Thank you for your note. I would love to meet up with you when you're over here mid-July. Winchester isn't that far away and trains go into Waterloo station (where mine go in to). Let me know the dates and we'll work something out. Shall I rally the London AINers for a meal out somewhere?
helloooo Colleen! great to hear from you. glad your workshop with Keith went well. He's amazing,
no doubt about it. Yes, Rebecca's been teaching for me this winter, as I was scooped off into a cross-faculty project by my Dean. Her show was great. I think the best way to connect with her would be through her blog, 'losing my mind' at http://www.northan.com/.
I think you can order 'something like a drug' through amazon. I'm busy with end of term grading today and it's snowing like crazy, big flakes piling up on the heads of the songbirds like crazy toques (socking caps to you?).
I'm off on sabbatical this summer and hope to spend some time in New York. I'll keep you posted in case I can drop in for a visit.
Dear Kathleen,
So Keith finally made it to Chattanooga after a terrible time with trying to get his visa...when he finally arrived he told us all about the performance Rebecca Northan created .."Blind Date". Did you see it at the Moose? Keith was VERY impressed with the performance! He said Rebecca is at the University of Calgary now for a time...perhaps filling in for a professor on leave? I would love to get in touch with Rebecca and see if she is performing this anywhere...Keith said he saw the final performance of the show at the Moose.
Zach is on Keith's Trance Masks video with Steve Jarand from last summer...we want to get Steve to come to Chattanooga too, but he told Zach that coming to the States was difficult...we have to solve this international problem...have you been here to the States to teach Kathleen? Would you be interested in coming?
let's stay in touch...and I am very inetrested in "The unauthorized oral history of Theatresports" by you and Clem. How do I get it?
thanks Kathleen...I'd love to hear more about your work..

Kathleen - I think I have a job at Jackson, Alberta in July with Apple Canada. Something about Ice Fields and a 4 hour drive from Edmonton. I'm trying to arrange it so I can rent a car and travel via Calgary - thus visiting old friends! Where will YOU be on July 7th or 8th? - Rebecca
John Turner! Please give him a big hug from me! I'm AD of the impro group here. We are in the final week of the comedy festival and beginning prep for our next impro show. We don't have a space so we do seasons in different venues. I have a copy of the mask DVD and I am starting mask work with the group here. Oz is pretty cool and I love waking to the parrots. xo
Hello Colleen, thanks for touching base. Your website is fantastic. Tons of great stuff going on in your part of the world. Hope you workshop with Keith goes well. Nice to see you have Dennis and Shawn arriving a bit later to follow on with the work. Life in Calgary is busy as our winter semester picks up speed toward the final 8 weeks of classes. Loads of creative work being produced. I'm back in Banff next week to lead an evening at the Leadership Development lab in full-mask work. That should be engaging!? catch up with you soon. Kathleen
Hey Kathleen,
I am so excited to find AIN and get connected with kindred spirits! I began studying with Keith at the Moose in '93 and have been hooked ever since! Keith is actually making his second visit to Chattanooga Tennessee at the end of March. He will be here from March 30 through April 6th...we can't wait!
My son Zach Laliberte is also a member of AIN now, and first attended the Loose Moose International school in 1999 when he was a freshman at Columbia College of Chicago...he will be coming to Chattanooga to study with Keith during the seven day intensive...we LOVE Calgary!
so sorry we missed the conference at Banff...we didn't know about it!
Hey Shawn, yeah, sorry about the big smack for the tonster . . . couldn't resist. I had a long chat with Belina from London regarding full masks and I suggested she contact you regarding that as you are in Europe this winter. She wants to use them in corporate settings. hope you don't mind that I dropped your name for a possible workshop, etc??? I'm back at the Banff Centre this week. Chinook winds raging up the valley. hope the show went well. ta, K
Clem is head of the place - WOW, congrats to him.
Yep, Oslo is ok. Cloudy but warmish.
Off to a show tonight... probably pass on kissing Tony but I will send your regards for sure.
... baa,, disturbing image of a smooch with tony... please refrain from such images in the future.
Hi Kathleen! Hope everything is fine with you in the Christmas and New Year's holidays aftermath! Have snow come to Calgary now? Here we are still without strangely enough - only darkness and rain! I wonder if you have got the Secret Masks DVD? And if so - what you got out of it! Talk again! Hugs!
