Hi Belina! I notice the home page says 2 days left for the early bird rate for the Portland conference and the Portland conference page lists the same rate til June 15th.
Unfortunately I can't make this now - I was always double-booked (hence the 'maybe') but was waiting on confirmation from a coaching client, so I thought I'd put my name down just in case! Sounds great - am gutted to miss it. Ditto Thursday's w/shop - how was it?
I'd really like to do that, because it's much more convenient. I can't figure out how close it is to Portland and the airport. Of course, it's often nice to hook up with someone in the area, coming as I would be without knowing a soul.
I have to find out more asap about the hotel costs, etc., and also see if I can use my "Thank You Rewards" (before they disappear...within the month).
Thanks for all your hard work in getting things off the ground there.
And thanks for your replay to me.
Hey Belina! thanks for the quick response. I'd love to connect while I'm in England. The family plans are still a bit up in the air. It's my nephew's graduation and my sis is in a bit of a tissy. I'm traveling with my mom (83) and being her baggage carrier ( oh gawd, that's so true in so many ways!). As soon as I get my official instructions I'll be in touch and we can set a date?
Hello Belina! still busy with mask work? I've been really out of touch the last few months, busy with sabbatical stuff and a terrible AIN colleague! Sorry about that. I might be in Winchester in early to mid July for a family occassion. Are you around then? Might be nice to connect? I can tell from your comment page that you have been very productive and appreciated. hope you are well. Kathleen
Oh my! I haven't been on the site for soooo long. I apologize for the ridiculously delayed response. The answer is yes, yes, yes! If it is even still relevant. All be best!
Thank you for asking how I use improv. I direct, coach, and teach, would love to go back to performing, and have put together the occasional corporate workshop. I was recently "laid off by Madoff," so I'm looking for full-time work in communications (alas, teaching improv won't pay the bills). I look forward to being a part of this community and continuing to learn!
Hey Belina****
How do you know about my new talk about Madoff? I'm quite excited about it. Should have a little video ready to share in a few weeks. I just did an open rehearsal of it at Sue Walden's house and got some great feedback.
Yours in play,
Matt
I am in the process of starting an improv-based training corporation in Lebanon. It will be the first in Lebanon and the whole Arab World (Middle East even, if we exclude Israel, probably). If you are interested in a partnership with this corporation, please message me so that we can discuss the possibilities.
Thanks for everything!
I had a blast...

Shawn and I are going to do a tour soon!

Maybe see you at Remy's session tonight? x
