Hei Kerstin!
Have mailed responsible for nurse education. Have found out that there are no classes in Japaneese so open field there. People are delighted.
Talk real soon! Hope legs are back to normal! I came home with no presents at all - had bought some in last minute at Van Gogh museum and put on one of the outside pockets on suitcase. Not smart obviously! Hugs!

Thank you for coming all the way to Gouda to drink chocolate with me. I'll skype you so we can talk properly after I've unpacked and my feet have returned to their normal size (ah, the joys of long-haul flying!) Do you have my postal address, so you can send the nursing info to me meanwhile?
Hi Kathleen! Wonderful to hear from you! Since I knew you were on a sabbatical I did not expect any news from you before that was over and I really hope that you have had a good one! Tomi and I have just returned from Tokyo AIN conference which was great but left a feeling of wanting something more - something that contains more art work - and Yael Schy told me about another community - perhaps the one you are talking about - more academic and all art forms involved. That must be something for me! I will check it out and join! Otherwise Tomi and I started another two groups of Multicultural Improvisation Classes yesterday and it all turned out fine!!! So all well here for the time - only me being overworked and very sensitive to a lot! SOUNDS for instance! Hopefully it will pass when jetlag is over! Hope to go to Portland so if not before - I will love to meet you there! Hugs!

Hello Kerstin! I sort of dropped off the page when my sabbatical started. Sorry I haven't been in touch. I guess I was pretty exhausted last summer and then I've been very busy and haven't been plugging into the AIN site. I did attend the Art of Man conference in Banff, which I enjoyed very much. Wow! that is a huge collection of international folks doing 'applied arts programming. Very similar to AIN actually, perhaps a bit more academic? I did see a few familiar faces from AIN in attendance. I spent 6 weeks on a creative residency in Banff making a new family of masks. They are all based on pure emotional states, quite large full face masks. It was a very healing and healthy studio break from teaching. I hope to do a workshop with them in Banff in June when I return there. At the moment I'm in my last week of working with the 52nd Street Project in New York. We go into tech week next week at the Public Theatre. It's all very exciting. I hope you have been well and having a productive winter. Once again, sorry to not being a better correspondant. Are you going to AIN in Portland? I'm thinking about it. all the best. kathleen
Hi Kerstin!
I've been searching around for robots!! And have found places in Japan where they they display their technology and robots in the museum. When you arrive Japan, if you are interested we could go check out these museums.
Also, I've found some robots that are created in Keio University and I am trying to take contact with them.
To be able to introduce us, can I ask you to e-mail me some infomation about the robot you are bringing? It 'll be helpful!

by the way I am really sorry i couldn't reply to the comment you gave me before! I missed it! my favorite swedish band is "Europe"!
Hi! How interesting! Yes our fields are overlapping and we really should see how to take this further! I will mail you separately and tell you all about my work and the plans that I have for the future!

Recently, I've been searching AIN for (academic) reasearch on improvisation in combination with management, innovation and so on. This is because I'm currently looking to my Master's Thesis on this subject.
I'm a Master of Business Administration, specialized in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. When I look at your profile (both here and at Malardalen University) it seems that our interests overlap.
I'd really like to hear what kind of work you do at Malardalen, would you care to tell me? Thanks in advance.
Hi Yuki! I am really looking forward to meeting you, too! And of course you should visit Sweden soon! As a matter of fact we are discussing already to have an AIN conference here next year! So if not before then... I will check up on that Sweden Rock festival! And if you go to the dance festival - look up my friend Asa Unander-Scharin and please say HI and cheer on her from me, too! She will really appreciate that I am sure! Is it the Rock festival in Solvesborg - really hard rock you are referring to? Iron Maden, Dio, like that?
Hi! Kerstin! Was nice talking to you at the mtg! I didn't know there was a international dance competition in Yokohama! I looked it up, and it was just a few minute walk from where I live, so I will go cheer for your friend!
And you are from Sweden? I've never been to Swenden yet, but its one of the places I'd really want to go! One event I'm wanting to go to is the Sweden Rock Festival..I heard that its one of the biggest show in europe. Is it really??
Hi Colleen! I don't know Eva and Joakim Lofgren - so curious now who they are and I will try to locate them! I am in contact with other Stockholm groups; for instance Stockholm Improvisationsteater (going there next week with a group of Improv students, Steve Jarand from LooseMoose and Greg Hohn from North Carolina! Wonderful!!!) And I met Keith Johnstone at the Banff Centre AIN conference in November - amazing in so many ways! Of course you are excited that he will come - you should be! I asked him if he could come to Sweden this spring but (unfortunately for me) he was all booked he said. Another time! Hope to meet you soon - in Trondheim? Or maybe in Chicago?
