Leif, thanks for the connection request. Its really a small world as I'm good friends with Norma Dompier from Gig Harbor. She mentioned meeting you and getting involved with Biznik and potentially improv in the Seattle area.
I have not visited this site for awhile and it seems different. And so I don't know how to send out a general announcement...
The Gainesville Improv Festival is on January 22-24 and looks to be offering some good stuff. Anyone in the Florida area or planning to
be should check out the web site. IF anyone does plan to come,
please contact me! Karelisa Hartigan
I am a quiet member of AIN; however, I believe in your philosophy regarding the use of Improv. and I would just like you and the members of AIN to know that Izzy Gesell (AIN member) and I just completed a book called "Cancer and the Healing Power of Play" A Prescription for Living Joyously with Presence, Acceptance, and Trust." Of course this book is based on Improvisational Theater. You can check it out at www.cancerandthehealingpowerofplay.com.
We are using Improv in helping those with chronic illnesses heal and live life laughing.
I just had a technical question. I replied to your discussion on niche vs jack-of-all-trades, but when I look at the 'new replies, sorted by latest activity' button under collanboration it doesn't show up. It does show up if I sort by new discussions. Did I do something wrong or is it a technical error?
Hey mate - hope all is well - now happily back in the UK. Keen to pick up the thread with you on various fronts. One quickie - How do I become part of the Chicago 2008 AIN group? - thanks mate - atb - Jonathan x
I downloaded Airsharing to my iphone, but I can't figure out how to get it to show up on my laptop. Do you have any time on Friday or Saturday to do a Skype call with me and talk me through it?? I hope so!!!!
Can you help me out with something? On the title of the James Bond video I erroneously attributed it to "Richard" whereas it really was "Jonathan Hughes!" Can you re-edit it so it reads correctly????
If you're new to this site or the concept of Applied Improv, you should probably start by first visiting this FAQ page to get your basic questions answered. Please see this guide for tips on how to use the AIN site. You can also watch video tutorials on using this site.

AIN MONTREAL 2015 : INVITATION FOR OFFERS
You have from now until the Monday, May 11th to make a (or several) delightful offers for our tribe’s conference. Again, ’Back to Nature’ is our theme for this 2015 AIN conference. Life on earth is creative, playful, and always improvising. In that sense, being connected to nature is being connected to our whole being, with all of our creative, playful and improvisational capacities. How does your work connect with that?
We have created and launched a new website to promote Applied Improvisation to prospective clients - AppliedImprov.com
As you know, we already have a great website for talking to each other: this new site is for us to talk to the world, letting people know the value that AI practitioners can bring to organisations and communities, as trainers, facilitators and inspirers of creativity. It also has a sensational new logo, thanks to our very own Bård Brænde.
Please take a look here, let us know how to improve the site, and recommend it to any potential clients you can think of. If you’d like to be listed on the site as a Practitioner, then check out the sign-up process on the discussion linked to this email here.
