William's book is great resource for tons of awesome improv games for performers. I took his LIfe Games workshop when he was here in Austin a couple of months ago. If you ever get the chance to take one of his workshops..DO IT!

For those who don't know this warm-up game...it's called Category Die. A category of 'things' is suggested by the audience and the players must respond when pointed to with something that fits within that category. If they delay, say something that doesn't fit or something that has already been said, the audience yells die and the player sits down. Play continues until one player remains. (this and 369 other games can be found in The Playbook: Improv Games for Performers.
