My 6 year old is a perfectionist. I noticed he blocked himself constantly when building structures using Widgets. His wasn't willing to be 'average' or 'let to' ... and yet when drawing pictures he Improvises beautifully.
Enter Dad! I set a simple limitation-rule ... 'don't stall, don't think, just build as quickly as you can', 'one piece at a time'. Later we even try to build with our eyes closed.
Result = loads of fun, lots of great structures, collaboration in action
