Spreading the Transforming Power of Improvisation
Flash Mob Against Poverty in FAO Atrium on WFD for Stand Up Campaign (16 Oct '09 @ 1310)
Although not strictly Improv, we organized a Flash Mob dance at my organization (UN Food & Agriculture Organization in Rome) for the Stand Up Against Hunger campaign on World Food Day, 16 October 2009. 600 people were present at the stand up, including 50 flash mob dancers. It raised much interest and awareness for the initiative and energized the crowd and the organization around this event. I come in on the Stand by Me part. Olympic Gold Medalist Carl Lewis was guest speaker.
