Thanks for this Frank. It takes me back to the wonderful summer experience. I hope to return for mask training next summer and look forward to seeing what happens with all of last summer's film.

Hi William and thanks for the comment.
The mask work is the foundation of Keith's Impro methodology. He says it in the DVD, and it is obvious for those who try the masks and have some success. It is a strange way to get right to the heart of both improvisation and "performance" as a character, or by way of application to any other kind of performing. The creative process is the centre of the wheel and the methodologies are the spokes. They all lead to the centre. I suppose to complete the analogy, we are the rim of the wheel?
More to come: Keith is doing an off line edit of the coverage of this past summer's 10 Days with Keith workshop in Calgary. Once he has determined the keepable material, we will begin to put the project together...in perhaps more that one way. One idea at this time is to make it fit along the lines of Impro for Storytellers. Our intention is to make a useful teaching and reference tool available to practitioners and teacher/consultants. I will keep you informed.

Frank ...thanks for adding this. I recommend the video. It makes the mask work more accessible for improvisers and teachers.
