Update on the AIN-Eu Conference in Trondheim:
1 So far more than 35 people have registered and the registration continous!
2 During the next weeks we will happily receive Bios for those who are leading workshops and presentations.
3 The "workshop with client" spot is still in it's experimentation face (and will always be). Feel free to forward ideas about what you will like to happen.
Looking so much forward to seeing you here in June!
Sven

That's good news, Sven.
Just a few crazy ideas on the client- workshop:
3-2-1-go:
Let's do it much more improv-like than we would do a real "serious" workshop. (Who's doing serious workshops? Admit it!)
Let's show them the core of improv: effective, constructive teamwork at an enormous pace.
Let's tape the workshop with 3 cameras and turn it into a fast-paced demo video, our demo. (Joey, will you be there?? )
Let's bring in a few local potential clients (international ones would also be cool, but don't we think totally global, anyway?), be it organizational or corporate background, 3 or 4 are enough
Let's make it a game
Let's take the 3 clients each have 30 minutes for their case,
Let them present in 3 minutes what they need
Let's yes-and in a free form on solutions, everybody is involved
Let's have a main character i.e. main facilitator, who leads the thing in her special way and delegates to the supporting characters ("Design a warm-up of three minutes involving groups of three. Go!")
Let's have a written proposal of a training/workshop for the clients at the end of the day in their e-mail-account

Let's have more ideas!!
Let's have a Skype conference next week and design the whole thing in an hour!
Happily looking forward too
Andreas
P.S: Who wants to stay for two more days to go up even further north in Norway to climb a mountAIN and enjoy the midnight sun?

Yes to everything but the staying longer-part! Tempting though - midnight sun!!! OOO!!! Suggestions sound interesting and also challenging. And fun. And possible to develop.

I hope you have received the program by now. As you can see, on Friday, we will have a "workshop with clients". At this point we don't know much about what that workshop will look like. Please feel free to post ideas for this year big and exiting experiment!

When you register for the conference you will receive a reservation confirmation sheet. If you don't receive it, you are not registered. Sue discovered that, when you register and type the expire date of your card you have to put Month Year and without the /. Just write 0809 for August 2009 and not 08/09. Just three days left to get the early bird offer!

The first draft of the program is out, people! Hope you will receive it soon.

Thanks for asking, Frode! The pre-conference will deepen your knowledge on a specific topic through a full day workshop. We are working on having two workshops at the same time - one will focus on theatre improvisation, learn it from scratch (again) through a spesific tradition, the other one will focus on learning how to apply improv in connection to a topic like change management. Unfortunately, I can't reveil yet who's going to be responsible for those workshops (I'll be back with more soon), but trust me those two people will have something to contribute. The pre-conference workshops will take place Thursday June 5. from nine o'clock in the morning to five o'clock in the evening.

Yo, Sven! Cool that Erlend is coming:-). About the pre conference: What's that? You were talking about some workshop stuff earlier. Can you say something about it? Who'll lead'em and theme for example?

It is a great honor for me to introduce the AIN-Eu Conference 2008 Mainstaff on Site: Maya, Fredrik and Ole Fredrik (Offe). They are truly important for the planning of the Conference here in Trondheim. Give them a warm welcome (you can find them as members of the network)!

People, friends! I'm so happy that the RFP for the Trondheim Conference finally reached everyone in the AIN community. I'm not happy about that you just have one week to submit it. People have already asked me for extension time and please, keep on doing that. That will help me finding a better timeframe for you. Thanks!

Hi Kerstin and conference group. Thanks for your questions Kerstin!
I am happy to announce that beside the marvellous jazz musician, Erlend Dehlin who soon will get his PHD
on "Improvisation and Leadership, are booked for the conference.
Noone was on Skype at the suggested time last time, so I have suggested a new time: Monday Jan. 21. 11 CET which is 10 GMT. Here we will discuss the Conference Theme, the suggestion so far is: "Improvisation Applied Across Europe". A call for papers has been send out for the European members, I need help from maybe Leif or Alain for sending it out to everyone. I will look at that. I really want to discuss a couple ideas for the Pre-conference which I am very exited about. Focus ahead is defenitely to get two very good workshops ready for the Pre-conference soon and then set up and publish the Final program to everyone. Talk to you!
Thanks, Sven
ps. I have given some answers about hotels on the Forum page!
