A day long workshop of Long Form Impro, lead by Kevin Tomlinson in collaboration with Hoopla.
Kevin has a charming teaching style that gets you going to deeper places in a fun and caring way. He makes normally complicated concepts seem simple and creates a really positive workshop.
He’s spent the past decade working extensively with Keith Johnstone in both the UK and Canada and has become an expert in teaching masks, long form, and other areas that don’t seem to get covered much in the UK.
Kevin’s current show ‘Seven Ages’ was created with the help of Keith Johnstone and won 5 star reviews at last year’s Edinburgh Festival.
Kevin is going to be leading a workshop primarily on scene work and long form impro. This moves away from the shorter quick-fire scenes we may have got used to and into the land of longer narratives, believable characters and truth. There’s not an awful lot of longform workshops in the UK at the moment, so this is a chance to try something different.
This workshop is only suitable to people who have done some impro before.
Price: £55. Please contact Steve Roe on 0797 697 5348 or roezone@hotmail.com to make a booking and arrange payment.
